

Do you remember the first autograph you got? Do you still have your childhood autograph book? Besides Mickey and Minnie Mouse, my first "real" autograph was Billy Joel. My cousin got married in the Hamptons and there was a boat dock next to the venue. Someone told us that the "Piano Man" was working on his boat so of course I went down to meet him. I was seven. I remember going home that night and contemplating where I should put the autograph. I think I even slept with it under my pillow. Now, I don't even know where it is.
We've entered the digital world. At a rally in Seattle, we had a monumental moment in our history. President Obama signed his autograph on an iPAD. Yes, you read that correct: iPAD. Talk about progress...
