Ever since I was four years old, the majority of my time has been spent on soccer fields. I played soccer in college and still play in a local league in Philly. Anywhere I travel in the world, I always find a game. What fascinates me about the sport is that it transcends all boundaries: gender, race, class, etc. I've learned so many life lessons from soccer about the importance of teamwork, communication and dedication.
If you couldn't tell already; I'm a huge soccer fan and very excited about the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which is only one week away!! US has to face England in the first match on June 12 and is also grouped with Slovenia (vs US on June 18) and Algeria (vs US on June 23). Even if you are not a fan; don't miss your chance to witness some of the best athleticism out there.
