This past weekend I helped my cousin start her blog. She is very immersed in the content that she wants to send into cyberspace and even has a binder full of information that she's been collecting over the past two years. However, when it comes to the design and organization of her blog; she needed help thinking about the user experience of her readers.

It made me realize that not everyone is focused on design aesthetic. That being said, I feel strongly that when you are ready to create your web presence; you should put your best outfit on. Consistency in grammar and formatting is important even for small things like using same number of spaces after a period. Remember, it is a two-way street: design matters.
