XOCHITL Restaurant Lounge & Tequila
Voted in Philadelphia Magazine's Top 20 restaurants of 2007, this year old aztec/ mexican restaurant, lounge and tequila bar has created a real following of devoted tequila drinkers and guacamole fans. The idea of a red ribbon was proposed at our kick of meeting with owner Steven Cook. The flowing ribbon speaks to the Mexican nature of the establishment and the swanky basement level lounge. It also emphasize the shape of the "X" in the name.

Silica Galleries
Our good friends at Philadelphia Glass Works and Gallery 908 came to us in need of a new mark for their latest endevour. Silica Galleries is an internationally marketed gallery representing mostly local talent. The inspiration of the name, Silica, and intern the mark, comes from the transformation of fine grain sand into glass art.
Nomaddicts
"Handmade Goods for the Cultural Nomad" is how Victoria Chan, Nomaddicts founder, describes her creations. Her leather bags, jewelry and clothing are for the fashion forward globe treker. We chose to use illustrations of nomadic birds as s symbolic representation of the worldly traveler. A condensed slab serif font reinforces the youthful grassroots origins of the company and its products.
